Clean Cooking

The solution to African deforestation starts by switching households away from charcoal cooking fuel. Gas and electricity are too expensive and require massive government subsidies. Sunstove is leading the energy transition to sustainable bioethanol cooking fuel.

Cookstoves

Clean-burning, durable and safe ethanol cookstove. The unique technology produces negligible soot and particles, with greater than 65 per cent fuel efficiency. Our cook stoves run for over five hours on just one litre of ethanol, and qualify for carbon credits.

Renewable Fuel

We can provide wholesale supply of bioethanol for clean cooking projects as well as regional distribution and retail solutions. Our bioethanol is made in Africa from feedstock that has been sustainably sourced from local communities and maximises local impact.

Biorefineires

With our partner, Sunbird Bioenergy, we can design and build biorefineries that convert agricultural feedstock into bioethanol. We have facilities in Sierra Leone and Zambia

We organise community programs to grow and source sustainable agricultural feedstock for the production of bioethanol.

Carbon Trading
